What to Do If You Are Suspended and Need a Break
Step 1: Resolve the reason for your suspension
The specific steps depend on the type of suspension:
- Financial suspension: Settle your outstanding tuition balance. You can review your balance and make payments through the myNXU Wallet.
- AEP/Administrative suspension: Submit all outstanding admission documents for verification. Contact the Admissions Team if you are unsure what is still required -- select Other > Admissions when submitting a support request.
Step 2: Confirm your reinstatement
Once you have addressed the issue, confirm with the relevant team (Billing, Admissions, or Learner Success) that your suspension has been lifted and your enrollment is active.
Step 3: Request a Leave of Absence (if still needed)
Once reinstated, if you still need an extended break, contact your Success Advisor to discuss your LOA options and initiate the request through the Academic Request Form.
