A course dismissal occurs when Nexford University administratively removes you from a course. This is different from a voluntary course withdrawal, which you initiate yourself.
A course dismissal may occur for the following reasons:
- Non-participation: You did not demonstrate academic participation by submitting the Module 1 assignment by Day 10 of the course. See Course Participation Requirements for details.
- Academic integrity violation: Recurring or serious evidence of plagiarism or other violations of the Academic Integrity Policy may result in removal from the course.
If you have been dismissed from a course and have questions about your options, contact your Success Advisor.
