PowerPoint has an in-built recorder to record your video whilst you present your slides. To access PowerPoint you will need to have downloaded Office 365 – it’s provided for you as part of your enrollment with Nexford University.

Start recording your video presentation by selecting 'Record Slide Show' under the 'Slide Show' tab in PowerPoint.

Ensure that you are clearly visible whilst delivering your video presentation. If you are not clearly visible throughout the presentation, you may be asked to resubmit the assignment.

Keep in mind that PowerPoint presentations cut audio whilst changing slides, so take a brief pause before moving to the next slide. Be aware that there is no in-built editor for cutting out sections, but you can re-record individual slides if you need to. If you would prefer to practice your presentation before recording, try using the Presenter Coach tool. [LINK]

When you are finished presenting, your presentation can be exported as a video or saved as a PowerPoint presentation. If you are saving your presentation as a video, our recommended format is mp4.
