If you are having trouble submitting an assignment, work through the steps below before contacting support.
1. Check the Due Date and Time
Assignment deadlines are set at 11:59 PM Eastern Time (ET). If the deadline has already passed, the late submission policy applies for up to five days after the due date.
Note that the late submission policy does not apply to Module 1 assignments. If you have missed the Module 1 deadline, contact your Success Advisor immediately.
2. Check Your Internet Connection
A stable connection is required to upload submissions successfully. Your internet speed should be at least 3 Mbps. Once you begin uploading, wait until the submission reaches 100% before navigating away from the page—leaving early may result in an incomplete submission.
3. Clear Your Browser Cache
If your submission is failing despite a stable connection, try the following:
- Clear your browser's cache, cookies, and history, then reload Canvas
- Open Canvas in an incognito or private browsing window
- Try a different browser if the issue persists
