Can I Pay My Tuition in Smaller Amounts Over Time?

Modified on Tue, 6 May at 9:19 AM

Yes, Nexford University offers the flexibility to make payments towards your monthly tuition in smaller, partial amounts by adding funds to your myNXU Wallet. This can help you manage your budget leading up to the tuition due date.

How Partial Payments Work Using Your myNXU Wallet

  1. Add Funds (Top Up): You can log into your myNXU portal (mynxu.nexford.edu) at any time and navigate to your Wallet. Select the "Top Up" option to add any amount you choose (e.g., above a $1 minimum, or as specified). You can make multiple top-ups before your tuition deadline.
  2. Build Your Wallet Balance: Each payment you make increases the available balance in your myNXU Wallet.
  3. Automatic Tuition Deduction: When your full monthly tuition payment is officially due (as per your invoice deadline), the required amount will be automatically deducted from your accumulated Wallet balance.

Crucial Reminder: Meeting the Full Payment Deadline

While you have the flexibility to add funds to your Wallet in partial amounts throughout the month, please remember:

  • The full monthly tuition amount must be available in your myNXU Wallet by the stated invoice deadline.
  • Making partial payments does not change the total amount due for the month, nor does it extend your payment deadline.
  • Having the full tuition paid by the deadline is necessary for you to be enrolled in courses and maintain access for the upcoming month/term.

You can monitor your current Wallet balance at any time by logging into myNXU.
