Accessing Your Past Courses in Canvas

Modified on Tue, 6 May at 7:47 PM

As a Nexford University learner, you can revisit materials, your submitted assignments, and feedback from courses you have previously taken. This can be very useful for reviewing concepts or tracking your academic journey. All your current and past course enrollments are accessible through Canvas:

  • Locate "Courses" in Canvas Navigation: On the left side of the Canvas screen, you will see the Global Navigation menu. Select the "Courses" icon.
  • Select "All Courses": A panel or list will typically slide out, showing your current or favorite courses. At the bottom of this panel/list, click on the link that says "All Courses".
  • View Your Course List: The "All Courses" page will display a comprehensive list of every course you have ever been enrolled in at Nexford. This list is usually organized by enrollment periods (e.g., "Current Enrollments," "Past Enrollments," and sometimes "Future Enrollments").
  • Access the Desired Course: Scroll through the "Past Enrollments" section (or the relevant section) to find the course you wish to view. Click on its name to open it.

NOTE: When you access a past course, you will have read-only access to most of the content, including materials, your previous submissions, and any grades or feedback provided. Interactive elements like submitting new assignments or participating in discussions will be closed for completed courses.
