What is an official transcript?

Modified on Mon, 27 Jan at 8:33 AM

To be considered an official transcript, your transcript must be sent from your previous institution either by mail or email, directly to Nexford University. Copies of the transcript provided by learners are considered unofficial transcripts. These are used to make an admissions decision so that you can start learning without needing to wait until the official transcript is received.

To provide your official transcript, just contact your prior institution and ask them to send the document in one of the following ways:

1. Ask for a hard copy of your transcript to be mailed to:

Nexford University
1140 3rd St, NE Suite 200
Washington DC, 20002

OR

2. Ask for an electronic copy of your transcript to be mailed to:

transcripts@nexford.edu

If you have any questions or concerns about providing your official transcript, email transcripts@nexford.edu
